FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I require a deposit at the time of booking which is 25% of the total cost. This secures your date. Then, 2 weeks before your wedding, the final remaining payment is due. If you would like to split it up differently after your initial deposit is made, I am happy to accommodate that. I want this to be an easy, stress-free experience for you!
I estimate 50 shots per hour. You will receive a minimum of 500 photographs for an 8 hour wedding.
Yes! I am fully insured and happy to provide your venue with a certificate if needed.
I always have a backup of everything I use. My cameras both store 2 memory cards each, meaning every time I snap a photograph, I automatically have 2x the copies of that photograph. Immediately after a wedding, I transfer all photographs onto two separate hard drives, where they are backed up further.
I am careful when choosing a second photographer to work alongside me. Their experience, professional values, equipment, and reliability are strongly considered. I am lucky to know and work with a few awesome photographers who are a reflection of these qualities.
Soooo, this is where it gets fun. It depends on your preference on whether you mind being out in the rain or not, and if there are any evenly-lit, open areas available within your venue. Some venues have beautiful indoor spaces that have fantastic lighting and are great photo-ops. If this isn’t the case and you would rather be outside, I recommend going for it. Rainy photos are beautiful and I keep clear umbrellas in my car that we can use. I have photographed newlywed portraits in the rain before and they turned out beautifully! Rain won’t stop us.
Sneak peeks are delivered within one week of your wedding date. Final galleries are delivered within 4-6 weeks of your wedding date.
YESSSS. This is a fantastic opportunity to not only get acquainted, but to gain comfort in front of the camera. Many couples use their photos from their engagement session for their “save the dates”. I love connecting with couples during engagement sessions and I often leave feeling like I’ve gained a new friend!
